  3. And thats what I did. Ok, I created the ironmanmode-mod. This disables the save and load options of a fanmission or completely in the game. Installation download it from my google drive tdm projects folder (select tdm-other folder). Extract the zip and copy the ironmanmode.pk4 file to the location where you disable the save and load options: Only in a fanmission: copy ironmanmode.pk4 to the folder of the installed mission. (for example darkmod\fms\saintlucia) In the dark mod completely: copy the ironmanmode.pk4 into your darkmod folder. Start darkmod.Uninstall To delete this mod, just remove the ironmanmode.pk4. And the save and load options not disabled. Notes 20161203 Disabled the load/save buttons in mainmenu and ingame-mainmenu. 20161202 At the moment version 20161202 is just a quick and dirty solution. The save/load menu points to the tdm credits. But when you close the credits screen, the credits animation plays on every screen. (@others, please pm your bugfixes) edit: changed name and instruction
  4. Ok, but do you want to fill-up your disk with the missions? (I dont know what the exact total size is) And there are also crappy missions.
  5. I will put that in a seperate chapter in the installation manual. And because its system-specific, its not advisable to put that in the installation packages (rpm & deb).

  7. I dont want such restrictions from the mapper or developer. As a user, i want to decide that for myself. A pk4 with modified settings, you can copy inside the mission, is almost easy to do. If you want it now, you have to do it yourself. How? for starters, create your own pk4 (standard zip file), copy modified files from tdm_gui01.pk4 & tdm_base01.pk4 to it and copy the pk4 to the a mission folder.

  9. WIP-log 20161130: Added a new mainmenu- and objective songs. Edited the mainmenu- and objective songs. (maybe going to remix it) Changed mainmenu background. Added loading mission screen.

I was thinking about this experiment. i.m.h.o i would like to make this experiment as almost same as the dark mod, only in a present-day setting with some sci-fi elements. no heavy weapons: only blackjack, a knife, a silenced handgun and some objects to throw or place. A possible idea for the guards: Guards that a using torch, we give them a flash light. I love the white "flashlight"-effect from the guards in the minigame from watchdogs 1 - digital trip "alone". (And love the background music in during that scene, only some simple long strings.) Is er something interesting inside the assetspackage from unreleased old d3 mod, alone?
  12. I placed the lightgem-folder in "darkmission.pk4\dds\guis\assets\hud\" And it works. To me, its looks nice, but the gem is a bit overbrighted in clear light. Instead of blue corners, grey color would be nicer. I keep it in the experiment.

  16. In my experience, If you want to have something in tdm, you must do it yourself. And someone did that in that topic. Please keep the forum clean and post stuff in there. Thanks.

If there if someone out there wo are willing to help with our experiment, please pm me. And found/added some ambient music (and his sourcecode, under a creative commons license) to the briefing. Love the design from d3-map "Genetic". And those office-assets from prometheus looks nice.

  20. Tdm is a 32 bit app and needs 32 bit packages to run on a 64 bit os.   23. For the experiment you can use the existing tdm textures and assests. Is it possible to export the "wireframes" of the prey map to tdm? At this moment im trying to create a briefing scene. Got the deusex 1 traingsmission music playing in the saintlucia briefing. Great music mix.
