That's fantastic! Hopefully approved soon before greenlight goes away. -
1. I don't think it should require a more powerful rig due to the new assets. As indicated in the release notes, there have been updates to improve performance. So hopefully you'll see improvements there. 2. I don't know.

If a PC struggles to run Doom 3 then it's never going to run TDM due to the additional load AI, sound pathing and lightgem computation put on the system. I would say that if someone has an 'older' system that runs Doom 3 with all the bells and whistles, then they should be able to run TDM half decently. They're going to take a hit though, no doubt.

Yeah, you shouldn't see much of a difference visually. The bump maps may appear slightly more flat, but other than that it should be pretty consistent. We should be making sure people are trying the the non-enhanced settings before suggesting the deeper settings since I noticed the game ships with the Enhanced Ambient by default.
-
Yup, it is enabled by default and will be enabled if you're doing a fresh install. Too bad it can't be forced to overwrite the setting, just in case it's off.

Number 4! That's damn impressive. -
Maybe there were changes made to the ambient lighting, or as spring mentioned difficulty levels affect the sight on expert difficulty. You can also set AI hearing and vision to a more classic thief like level in the main menu. The coding changes for the lightgem were simply to improve the speed of the processing. Didn't have anything to do with sensitivity or accuracy that I'm aware of.

What tweaks are you referring to?
-
Restoration is underway. Might just take a little time.
-
Not cool.
-
I don't know what's going on, but I sure as hell would like to know.
-
Greenlight isn't going away until the spring, and since our submission came days before the announcement we should still fall under Greenlight. After that, anything approved for greenlight should be transferred to the new system Having said all that, we don't know for certain. Hehe

Beautiful!

It is probably worth mentioning, if it hasn't been already, that we were involved in the Thief 2014 modding contest as an official partner. Don't want it to sound too braggy, bit that was a pretty big deal to be included.

Great idea!

Hiccups aside, I think this is a positive first step. Thanks for giving it a push to get the ball rolling.

DarkRadiant 2.2.0 pre-release testing
New Horizon replied to greebo's topic in DarkRadiant Feedback and Development
Fantastic work Greebo. Thanks so much for keeping Dark Radiant alive and well. -
It's a reliable distribution channel. I wouldn't worry about it beyond that.

Voted!

Fantastic!

Good lord I hope not haha, I certainly wouldn't add it. Nice trip down memory lane though. Pacing and music was nice for the time.

Ahh yes, the teaser Tyrot and Sparhawk came up with. That was cool!

@biker I did some tests with jpeg way back in the early days. The jpegs created graphic issues...I recall banding, and maybe some bad noise on the textures. The game just didn't like them.

I think there were too many other things to miss. lol
