AFAIK console is not case sensitive. In this case, there's no problem with editparticles and EditParticles. Besides, you have to write this command in window mode in order to run. To simply make it window mode; use Alt + Enter combination. -

Sorry for late response, I found them in tdm_defs01.pk4 later. I lost my enthusiasm of working on particle editor, so any text editor for editing is better for me. @pranqster If you going to work on them, you can find/edit speed values in text editor. In both way you need to test several times to get right speed. -

type EditParticles in console but as Fidcal mentioned It takes too much time under darkmod. Use doom3 instead. But this time it can't find darkmod assets. I couldn't find them with explorer either. Where are they? Besides the save doesn't work for me. I'm totally confused -

yeah I'm aware of that. Even in saint lucia assets, some stone textures such as rough_big_blocks are from his works. I found it out while I was asking him for permission to use them in Doom 3 modding. That was really surprise for me. -
running updater will find out if there's any differences I believe. But before that, be sure that to back up your files if you have modified files. edit: d'oh! I didn't saw that you mentioned it already.

Nice catch. Seems like you know bod well. It's really epic game that's why you found out too easly just by stand torch I believe! But I'm not building Tabriz lol. I love bod and always want to see it in a modern engine. So that I'm rebuilding it's maps. Not a carbon copy, but partially some mementos from it and even maybe some same small places. And about the cell key, it's the key that you can escape from the cell. I think it's similiar with Tabriz somehow. I can't stop myself copying it Just by looking your pic's thumbnail, I can say it has the atmosphere. Because there are fences and shadows! That's what I'm trying to do now. You know there was sneaking in bod, you can really get close to your enemy w/o noticed, and the only missing thing was the blackjack -

great pics melan, and thanks for the images Springheel. They are very inspiring for sure! I usually take in game shots as reference, because you can't make every detail of real life. So, when details are gone what is left may not satisfy. But in games what you have seen that you can do (in smiliar engines of course).

wood for platform isn't good idea, cuz player will slide down lol a suggestion: Keep your first building apart from tutorial. When you look back after months or years, it'll be a great comparison how much you have improved -

There are different lighting over the window texture in these pics. That's why it looks ugly to you. Don't light the window that much, instead light the enviroment, but if there's ambient lighting you should be careful on it. Besides, the texture's scale seems wrong to me in second pic.
