  1. @stgatilov, why would TDM be asking for these files? or does 2.06 assume its running under windows which would have these in the system32 folder. If so could Vagabond just place the missing files inside the TDM folder? Assuming that works are we then allowed to include these files inside TDM, or will we have to point to a download link and some quick instructions on how to extract and place..?

  4. As it is unluckily this thread will be cleaned up after the fact, @who ever is looking after the forum these days, please delete this thread in its entirety (I have made a backup of the text/links). I will just start a new one after the mission is released.
  5. I'm i7 4790k, GTX1070, 16Gb, Win8.1 (Im assuming your on 10) so can you link me a complete mission archive and what args you used to flip between the different shadows so I can see if I get the same temp/load fluctuations.

  7. The above only applies to tablet installs of Win10 and even then only for the email app - and can be easily disabled.

  9. If your plan is to request replacement of core modeles, then you will need to make sure you dont change the location of the origin, as it will brake any mission that have used it. If your making these for your own mission, have at it.

  13. Indeed, I was left wanting after both. At least with DS1 we had the Knife of Dunwall and the Brigmore witches (the other dlc packs were kinds pointless, void Walker's Arsenal and Dunwall City Trials)

A few times now I have run into a situation where I have needed an tweaked version of a model, either to remove a chain from a light model or trim or column from a wall model etc. As we now have a few modelers with proper modeling tools in the community it made sense to create this thread instead of struggling away in Darkradiant as I and other mappers have been doing. My first request is for some tweaked version of Springheel's interior wall models that remove the end column/s so we just have a nice flat wall/panel where they meet. And to allow for some flexibility LH/RH and non-column versions of these models would be useful - models/darkmod/architecture/modules/interior_set01_default.lwomodels/darkmod/architecture/modules/interior_set01_corner.lwo My second request is in addition to the removal of the column to also have part of the lower wood panel removed to accommodate a fireplace (models/darkmod/fireplace/fireplace_wooden) so neither are poking through into the firebox. And again LH/RH version would be useful. - models/darkmod/architecture/modules/interior_set01_default.lwomodels/darkmod/architecture/modules/interior_set01_corner.lwo My third request is just to have a hole cut in the center lower wood panel to accommodate a fireplace (models/darkmod/fireplace/fireplace_wooden) so its not poking through into the firebox. models/darkmod/architecture/modules/interior_set01_default.lwo All of the above new models need to be able to snap-able to grid, and line up with the existing models like the current models do. So it may be recommended to keep the origin in the exact same location as the donor model before saving/exporting.
  15. A model with a decal poking through the side of the main model - - its the old decal over draw issue and the work around is to move the edge of the decal inward away from the side of the model.
  16. Thats where the Death of the outsider DLC partly fills the gap (and its dirt cheap now)
  17. Surely as long as the model dimensions aren't changed, we should be able to just replace the model outright. The issue I mentioned in the OP was just to get the textures fixed, which I beleive R-soul has 99% done. I think I may have to update the OP to clearer about whats reqiured, what cant or can be done etc.
  18. @Judith, can you upload a test/demo mission with all of the work you have done thus far, including all the required files and executables?
