Vista Darkmod running problem

Hello Everyone,

 

 

 

I have a problem running this mod. I installed Doom3 and patched it to correct version of 1.3.1. patch. But everytime I launch the darkmod with tdmlauncher.exe, only black screen appears and I hear menu music but screen is completely black, so I can´t navigate thorugh menu.

 

First time I launched the game I launched it with administrator rights, I hope I didn´t screw it up with it.

 

I even tried your FAQ help with "Textures are missing, screen mostly black" topic, didn´t help though.

 

I have laptop, OS Vista home premium SP2, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P7350, 2.00GHz, 4GB of Ram, NVidia GeForce 9600m GT 512MB.

 

Hope it´s possible to make it run correctly on my PC.

Thank you very much, now I know what has been caisuing this. I was using alongisde the game Parallax and lightning mod, so this was the cause. I reinstalled the game, and this time installed doom3 only (no datadisk, no other mods), patched it to 1.3.1 and it works.

Yes, it does. One note I found:

 

 

This mod is compatible with most other mods, except those that modify the main shader.
