How can I stop an AI from alerting at a body?

I'm sure someone else posted about this problem but I can't find it. Even a google didn't find it. Anyways...

How can I stop an AI from alerting at a body?

When an AI sees a body and alerts it eventually cools off. If it patrols back there later it does not alert when it sees the body a second time so what has changed? is the body flagged with a new property? Can I apply that property somehow before the AI sees the body so it doesn't alert at all.

I believe ordinary ragdolls that are placed at game start do not cause alerts so I'll take a look at one of those to see if there is anything different in the spawnargs.

Otherwise, the only solution I can think of is to replace the ragdoll with a clone immediately after death.

Could you play with the 'team' spawnarg? If I remember correctly, nobody cares about team 5.

If you change the ai to team 5 just before his death, others wouldn't mind the corpse. I don't know if a ragdoll's team property can be changed, though.

Yes, although not easy to detect one moment before death but I'll try it first triggered by death see if that fixes it. I already have a script triggering at death so I'm sure there must be a script even to change teams. I love a quick fix. :)

The FAQ wiki is almost a proper FAQ now. Probably need to spin-off a bunch of the "remedies" for playing older TDM versions into their own article.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
