Brightness not restored when quitting.

Hi all,

 

Sometimes TDM does not set the brightness (or gamma ?) back so I find myself with a very white desktop. Is there an easy way to reset it to the default value ?

This happens for me when TDM crashes, but not when it exits normally. Don't know of any easy way to reset it.

I have an ATI 7750 1GB, but I remember it happened to me also when I had a 3850 256MB.

I also add to this that it happens on normal exits (no crash).

it happens with nvidia cards as well, there is no simple fix for it. When it happens I have to go into the nv control panel and rset the gamma etc. You will have to go into the ATi cp and do the same.

 

 

the above said, the only reason it woul;d happen when D£/TDM isnt crashing is because the gamma in D3 is different to the windows desktop gamma, I would suggest you set both of them the same, in my case both ar set to 1.33. Fyi its what my monitor need to display the details level correctly in-game.
