Resizing light volumes uniformly - how?

Recommended Posts

Yes, just click on the properties and enter the x,y,z cords manually.

Yeah, but I meant interactively dragging bounds and having the volume to resize uniformly ?

Here's an old topic:

http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/5848-lights-how-to-resize-them/

You should be able to resize a light the same way you can resize a complex brush object:

o Select the brush
o (best) choose minumum grid size, but maximum 1 unit
o Put Vertices Mode for Edges ON
o Select all Verts of the brush which should be scaled
o Open Modify --> Scale, set X,Y,Z to the same numbers and scale each side the same amount (in case if you want a symetric scale)
o Use snap to grip if needed to put the scaled bursh tight with other brushes

(Courtesy of fllood... I think Ungoliant had a similar workaround but I can no longer find it.)

Please visit TDM's IndieDB site and help promote the mod:

(Yeah, shameless promotion... but traffic is traffic folks...)
