Lost in traslation

Hi all, i tried in all ways to play TDM in Italian but I did not succeed. Can anyone explain step by step how to do it? Thank you

You can change the game language under "Settings"->"Video"->"Languages" in TDM. However, not all missions are translated. Here you can find a list, which missions are available in which languages. I have no idea, how current this list is, though.

Problem is accessing someone who can translate a mission. There's not a lot of text in a mission really, briefing, objectives + readables.

 

What we need is a forum where we can ask for translations of our missions.

Well, you have a forum here. Just make a thread and ask. But be aware, that your map should be set up accordingly. Namely all text that should be replaced has to be switched for a str#_NNNNN, as described on the Wiki page. From there, it is simply taking the strings that exist and translate them one by one, which should not take as much effort.

@Last, when the game starts, click "Settings" -> "Video" -> "Language".

You can select "Italiano" from here.

Anyway, while this topic is up, that I18N Status page doesn't have the French translation of my Patently Dangerous, although it was released as a separate release on the French Thief forum.
