wesp5 Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 I just want to confirm this before I log a bug tracker. When I use the keyboard to zoom in on something and keep the button pressed, I get a very ugly endless loop overlay kind of effect! It doesn't happen if I zoom with a mouse key and keep that down. Has that been fixed for 2.06? Quote
Destined Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 How do you zoom in on something? The only thing I know, how to do that is with the looking glass and for that you only have to hit the respective buttton once to zoom in and zoom out again, by hitting the button oce again. I have never tried to hold the button, but I can imagine that this results in a constant zoom in - zoom out exchange, that might result in the enldess loop, you are talking about. Quote

The mouse key behaviour is different and I think the keyboard should be fixed to behave the same! Quote
Destined Posted May 16, 2018 Report Posted May 16, 2018 Well, I prefer not having to hold down the button all the time, while I want to zoom. Best would be a menu option like "toggle crouch", just "toggle zoom". But I agree that the behaviour should not differ between keyboard and mouse. Quote
