clip/carve a module?

Hello TDM crew.

I am not sure what to search for, so am asking.  Is it possible to clip/carve a module such as:

   "models/darkmod/architecture/modules/interior_set01_corner.lwo"

to be able to manipulate it?

Modules are not "ungroup-able" like prefabs.

Essentially, I am looking to add a vent grate.  I have been considering using combinations of the "...hole..." or "...empty..." module variants to get what I need.

Much appreciated.

Clint

[edit] -- sorry, I will try and put these under the "newbie questions" forum going forward.

You can't do it in DarkRadiant, but you could do it if you imported the LWO into a modelling package like Blender then exported it to a new LWO.

Whether this is a practical solution will depend upon your particular comfort level and familiarity with modelling tools.

Anyone have any luck with light.setShader( string ) ? It seems to make whichever light you apply it to full-bright on the initial invoke?

Don't you hate it when there's a quality discussion on a forum somewhere online about something, but then two disagreeing users derail and transform it into a back-and-forth poo slinging competition at one another?

After watching the first three and a half episodes of "The Sandman" last night, I realize once again that overly imaginative narratives are not for me. Also, the main actor looks like he has a toothache.
Which makes me wonder, is there a Dark Mod mission with a medieval dentist?
