Really cool website with beautiful images of tarot, etc.

Those are some crazy 1606 illustrations. Does anyone else find the attempts to convey perspective to be mind boggling? It's like they sort've attempted to convey the perspective of looking at a rectangular building at an angle, but then there were some round parts that stuck out at the front and back, so they just painted them on the front and back rectangle faces as if they were 2d objects.

Isn't this dated after they rediscovered how to properly draw 3d objects? Is there any excuse for this? :) Was this just the style of architectural drawings at that place and time?

I'm thinking a lot of the authors did their own artwork, so they're not trained artists. They probably wouldn't trust an outsider artist to get the symbology right, and that's the most important part for them.

I love alchemy stuff, so it's fun to look through this.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

I recently found this site (http://www.voynich.nu/index.html, or wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voynich_MS) on the Voynich manuscript while following links on unsolved codes. It's one of these medieval mysticism tomes written entirely in a secret language with an unknown script of some 40 odd squiggles. Statistical analysis says it has the statistical properties of a natural language, but it's proving incredibly hard to crack.

Reading through all the analysis this thing has been subjected to ... how they're making just enough progress in decoding it that it keeps it interesting, but enough mystery that there are always more questions than answers, it's fascinating.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
