I'm still playing this (Can't find the damn key to the vault room. lol That said. This is a very good mission. A lot of fun to play. Aesthetics: You made the usual first mistake by new mappers, of making every room/space too big. However you recovered from that really well, and fleshed it out beautifully. All the spaces are really quite lovely, and well detailed. I really liked the mansion, and the way you handled the lighting. Very nicely done. You pulled off a very well lit place (as it should be in reality) yet still can remain invisible. The whole look of the entire map was really well done. Story: Won't say much here as I've not finished it, yet I'm really enjoying it. Readables are all quite interesting, and the custom voicing was very well done. I especially liked some of the new comments by guards. The interaction between the lady and the guard at the ***** scene was very well done. Gameplay: Few complaints here. More than 3 lockpicks except for especially secret areas is too much. Loot is very scarce, and not in the usual types of places. That said though, the loot pile tends to sneak up to the objective unnoticed. For a first mapper, this is a very very good mission. I am really enjoying it. However I could do with a hint re the vault room and where to find the code. I've been all over the map n no luck. Congratulations. Job very well done. Look forward to your next one. -

I didn't panic Orbweaver lol. My bank advised me to cancel the card and it made sense to do so. I've been talking with the company, and they say the files I got were correct, however I can't verify that because I got the wrong type. Their site has an option to request conversion of the model, yet their support team say they tried to convert it but it didn't work, and it wouldn't work with any of the formats they offer to convert to. I think the whole thing is a scam! They offer to give me rewards to the value of the model, but that's no good to me if all their models can't be converted to a useable format for TDM.

[EDIT] This matter has been resolved, and no fault of the website. I wanted to add a different look to my Venice map by buying a street of models to use. I found this and bought it. It's a lie. What you get is a set of OUR (Dark Mod Arcturus Rocks and assorted .ASE models from the Grass Demo; packaged up with random textures and images. This has given me a complete head fuck as now I can't trust this bastard with my credit card details so I have to cancel my card and notifiy everyone I do business with in direct debits of the new card which I won't get for 10 days.

No, it wasn't mothers bed. It was the bedroom at the end of the corridor with the skeleton in the closet (nice lol). I climbed onto the bed near the pillow, walked to the other end and stepped off at the foot of the bed and got stuck.

Actually Bieine, I found two bugs. The bed one, I got stuck on, but also the right leg. I found all the body parts and the doll. Went out to the grave dropped them in. The skull, arms, spine and left leg arranged themselves together and the right leg disappeared. Objective not completed. Go back to where it was located according to the list, n not there. Can't finish the level. I remember now I have played this before and had no problems. I wonder if the bed caused the leg problem.

Oooo new map Awesome. Playing now. [spoiler] Ran into one problem in the room where you get the Den key. Climbed onto the bed, walked around n off the by the end and got stuck. In the attic: The effect of the rope around the light, and the shadows it casts is just gorgeous. [/spoiler]

Updated the map. Found a bug that spoiled one room. Don't know how it happened, it was huge shadow across one room, and never was there before. No matter, fixed now. No, they are gone. I thought I could get the map I was working back when I saw it in My PC in File Explorer but it was just an echo of the lost files The only thing that can save me if someone knows how to use data recovery and can explain it to me. I did try but just ended up with empty folders in a different drive.

Thanks for that Spring. Didn't even know about this. Though I still think poral leak pointer should be a different filter, especially for new mappers who could waste a lot of time looking for a non-existent void leak. -

It should do that in a different colour than the normal leak pointer. Otherwise you can't tell if it's a leak or a portal leak. -
The Case of the Unscalable Stairs

The player as certain limits he needs to do things. Climbing stairs means stair needs to be 8 units high. It's important to understand all these limits, such as jump height/distance, vault height all that.
