T2X

I finally got round to completing T2X yesterday, after starting to play it around 3 years ago. I enjoyed it, but I thought that the last couple of levels seemed to lose their way a bit (the objectives for the penultimate level were just ridiculously hard, with key items hidden in places that don't even look accissible, and the final level was IMO too well lit), but it was a solid plot and a hell of an achievement for a bunch of people to create in their spare time.

 

I also noticed New Horizon getting a nod in the credits

Aren't they porting that whole campaign over to TDM?

It was a major achievement, that's for sure.

There were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way, but overall I liked it a lot, and of all the campaign projects that got tossed around back in the day, at the end of the day it was the one that delivered and basically did what it promised. That by itself is a major thing. (Cosas is still chugging along in the background, though.)

I'm planning on playing Thief Gold (can you belief that although I've completed TDP, I've never played Gold?!), and then COSaS is next on my list

Yeah, I've never played Gold either. 

 

I played through the first two CoSaS missions last week, and to be honest I didn't enjoy the first one. The second, however, is very original and great fun.

Converserly, I just played thief gold and no need to DP , but really wonder how awesome mission(s) t2x has.
