Here is a shot of my daughter at play on Halloween a few years back. Yes, the girl from the Ring. She would sit on the front porch, head hung low, candy in her lap, kids reach for the candy, any sudden moves some kids would scream, and the chase was on.

Still love this photo, you can only see the whites of her eyes. When I saw the picture after taking it I was like. OMG, SUCH A GOOD PICTURE!! She loves it too.

Filmed in Sweden, very good movie. Hollywood did a remake, I won't watch it. This one has its charm, its not over the top, just a good movie.

 

Another must see, Pan's Labyrinth. So much going on in this packed movie. Its fabulous. Both movies you can watch more than once easily.

Given today's industry witch hunts for ... say ... movies obtained in alternative ways, it might not be the best idea to say that openly. But that's just my two cents.

You have to remember too, where did I say I downloaded them illegally? I didn't. There is Netflix etc, which we use Taking your own photo for Halloween usually does not instill a sense of *ooohh thats scary, or man thats a good photo*. Rare to see them. Aren't they usually *cute*? That one definitely is a winner, and thank you.

 

Here she is this year, at the Zombie walk Dallas 2010.

 

She looks like a mannequin in this one. That dazed look.

Love the scar on her neck.

 

 

This one, you can plainly see the difference in her eye color, that is natural. I call this ala 28 days later. Oh, and she's blowing a bubble, she wanted it to be a red blood bubble, didn't work.

 

We're Halloween buffs around here. Just learned how to this year make my own prosthetics. Haven't tried it yet, will next year. Research first, then try it out later.

LOL your daughter is exactly the opposite of mine. She's 4 years old, and she recently discovered her love for the color of Pink, and now she wants everyting in pink, be it her clothes, her room or our entire house. It's a nightmare...

They are cute at that age, mine too loved her dolls, and yes the color Pink. Just wait till she gets older, she's 15 now. The color Pink isn't her favorite color anymore.

15, huh? Did she approve of you posting the pictures here? I remember my sisters being very sensitive about photographs at that age... I bet her new favorite color is black, just like nearly all of today's 15-year-olds.

 

Pan's Labyrinth is very cool, but on the third time, it loses its charm in my opinion.

 

I recently also watched some of the recommendations from this thread: Pandorum and Donnie Darko. I especially like the latter (Scary moment when you hear frank talk the first time), but both were decent.

Wow. This is so much like my having LAN parties in the spring. When we soon get sick of playing video games, my friends will go outside with NERF guns or Airsoft guns. When we get sick of that, we terrorize the neighborhood children by dressing as zombies.

@ STiFu, nope my daughter doesn't mind at all. These are on her Facebook anyway, she LOVES photography. She does like the color black, as well as red....I think.

 

@ Mortem Desino why thank you! She might beg to differ sometimes. We have a yearly ritual of going to the Haunted Houses every year. I love it, she does too. Hell I'd be right there with her in that Zombie walk, sometimes its just not hip to be seen with your mom, you know how it is. Though I did go with her to her first concert over the summer.
