That mod requires an older Doom 3 patch. The authors should update it but there is a Quake 4 mod that is essentially the same and works without hunting for old game patches:

Speaking of Doom 3, how many of you shot Scotty on your way to find the missing scientist near the start of the game? He was the guy talking to his partner who was doing maintenance in a shaft.

 

You then hear his partner say "Boss? Hey, what the **** is going on up there!"

How is that even possible? Doesn't the player character lower his gun when it's pointed on an NPC?

      tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh?       I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.
