If I bind something to a door and I want it to froblight along with the door, what spawnarg do I use again?

"frob_peer" "door name" on the handle didn't work. Do I put this on the entity I want to highlight, or the door itself?

If the door handle is an "atdm:mover_door_handle" you only have to bind it to the door.

If it's an unmoving model of a door handle, and you bind it to the door, then frob_peer the door to the handle and frob_peer the handle to the door, and that should do it.

The only other reason I can think of that the handle doesn't highlight when you frob the door is if the material used on the handle doesn't have a "highlighted' definition in its description.

It does have a foblight stage, yes.

I have a door with a static handle model bound to it, and then a moving "atdm:mover_door_handle" bound to the door as well. The handle model is not froblighting when the door is highlighted, which looks a bit odd (the mover_door_handle uses the same material, and highlights fine). I've tried the following:

I've tried

1. "frob_peer" "handle1" on the door

2, "frob_peer" "door1" on the model

3., both at once.

None of those combinations work.

Maybe you've forgotten to set the func_static handle model to frobable ;)

Has anyone had any luck with textures from Polyhaven? Their OpenEXR normal maps seem too washed out and give incorrect shading in the engine.

I tried to upscale the TDM logo video. First try:

briefing_video.mp4 You can test it ingame by making a copy of the core tdm_gui.mtr and place it in your-tdm-root/materials/ , then edit line 249 of that file into the location where you placed the new briefing.mp4 file.
What I did was I extracted all the image files, then used Upscayl to upscale the images using General photo (Real-Esrgan) upscale setting and then turn it back into a video.
I might have to crop it a bit, the logo looks smaller on screen (or maybe it's actually better this way?). My video editor turned it into a 16:9 video, which I think overal looks better than 1:1 video of original.

Finally got round to publishing a tutorial on baking normal maps in Blender, since most of the ones we have are inaccessible or years out of date.
