The you shouldn't change the date on your own, but rather add more to the milestone. The date is not something to play around with. It should be a set date which holds for everybody. Of course if you think that this is a good way to go, then we can assign different dates for each member, just to make it more "realistic".

 

We don't have a milestones for each team member, we have a milestone for the PROJECT.

It's not per team member. It's per division. The art division is aiming to have the above things (when the list is done) done by September 1st. Once those are done we'll add a new list of things to be done by November 1st. I'm not comfortable projecting half a year in advance.

We just did that for the last milestone. Planning for half a year. And two months difference is not really THE difference to warrant different dates for everybody.

I've just made/making a wrought iron signpost hanger-thing. I've left out the actual sign part, so people can make a brush, texture it with a sign and perhaps make it a func_movable so it can swing or something neat like that.

Don't talk bullshit at me like MAKE THE SIGN THINGY WITH AN ALPHA TEXTURE. Know what, it's like 250 polys or something - big deal. It looks better this way and casts a proper shadow.

Looks good. Maybe it's the lighting, but the various segments look as if they were shifted a little bit off center to each other. Could be intentional or just the shadows. Or maybe I'm halluzinating. :)

Don't do the cart just yet...I've found a site where you can download some medieval models for free and that's one of them. You could do a four-wheeled wagon though.

I've got about a dozen medieval models that are free for noncommercial use, many of them with textures already done. Fingernail and I are seeing how useful they are to us.

Actually, Alan, you said you could skin objects, right? That's where our strongest need is right now. We still have about thirty models Atti has done that need uv-maps and textures.

Great. I've got one or two others, but I don't know if they're already textured or not. Do you want me to send you all twelve models or would it be better to spread them around?

      I posted about it before, but I think the default tdm logo video looks outdated. For a (i.m.o.) better looking version, you can download the pk4 attached to this post and plonk it in your tdm root folder. Every mission that starts with the tdm logo then starts with the better looking one. Try for example mission COS1 Pearls and Swine.
