It's what Google Chrome names files during a download. It's supposed to rename them to the proper filename once fully downloaded, so if it hasn't it's possible the download was interrupted for some reason.

The tdm_installer.exe.zip file is roughly 800 KB, so pretty damn small. You could try renaming it to that and seeing what happens - maybe Chrome did download it but just didn't rename for some reason.

Crdownload is a filename extension, a container for partedly downloaded files (later for combine to a full datafile),  You did not get the full downloaded file.

Please remove that file and download it again. Maybe check if a viruscanner blocks things, bad internet connection, etc.

      I posted about it before, but I think the default tdm logo video looks outdated. For a (i.m.o.) better looking version, you can download the pk4 attached to this post and plonk it in your tdm root folder. Every mission that starts with the tdm logo then starts with the better looking one. Try for example mission COS1 Pearls and Swine.
