I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. People have no clue how to drive in snow around here Luckily I learned how to drive in Central Oregon where was a lot of snow every winter.

I always loved it when the first real now was falling. The streets were quite deserted and you could slide on the street with your car to your hearts content.

Also it's nice to go out in the night, when the night is much brighter than usual and all is hushed while the snow crumbles under your feet. Unfortunately in the area I live now there is basically no snow at all. If you have one or two days of a few centimeters you can consider yourself lucky.
