Can one use the "Other Materials" textures in my map?

Recommended Posts

Hi.

In my map I've used the texture numberwheel_wood, located in Other Materials in the Media browser.

It seems to work just fine, like any other texture, in-game too. But I've noticed that it does not show up in the Texture Browser like the other textures I have used.

I've tryed with other textures from the Other Materials folder and they dont show in the Texture Browser either. Should I be concerned about that?

I'm using Thief's Den ressources btw.

This is intended. The Texture Browser tab is only showing shaders whose name is starting with "textures/". This prevents all kind of stuff from being shown (like light shaders and model-specific textures) like you experienced.

The other materials are (as greebo mentioned) light textures etc, however, they also include model textures. So you can find the textures that the trees use etc in there.

Specifically, the numberwheel_wood texture is one that the T2 like numberwheel mechanical machine uses.
