Hello! To celebrate 15 years of TDM, and because so amazing missions have been made in my absence, I felt compelled to made a small mission for everyone to enjoy: The Last Offering! Mission briefing: Build time: roughly 30 h darkradiant time during october-november 2024. AI has been used for initial mission brainstorming, proofreading and polishing readables. Thanks: *Whole TDM community for everything. *Betatesters: thebigh, datiswous, Shadow Other: I challenge you to play this short mission without saving or loading! The player gets plenty of gold for gear: buy a good thieving kit and enjoy the mission without saving! It is quite possible it is more exciting that way. Thank you Sotha, a really good little mission, I had a lot of fun. I think it's good that you wrote that you worked on the mission for 30 hours, that's an important message, everyone should do that

It was sort of by-accident-by-design.

There's a really nice touch in this mission that I only just realised: I'm going to assume that was deliberate. So well done on adding this new approach.

AI is OK, but not when the company only conceives it to obtain user data and does not control where the LLM obtains its knowledge bases, allowing them to indiscriminately scrape the network. I have been using an AI Search for 2 years (Andisearch), little known, from a small Staetup, that is different from all the others in all aspects, so far the only decent and reliable AI I found. It has its own LLM, no focused on chats, but to "understand" the concept of your question, giving a direct answer, verified from reliable sources on the web in real time, which is also listed in a search result. 100% private, anonymous, no ads, logs, random proxy, with own reader mode and sandboxed videos. It don't invent nothing, if it don't know the answer, offers a general web search instead. This is the correct way to use an AI.

I'm in awe of everyone who makes these missions and thank you for your time and efforts. I was one of those who wandered around wondering what was going on before I finally fell upon a place that I realized was going to take the game forward. I didn't mind being lost and seemingly off mission, it was fun to explore. Thanks again for hours of fun!
