  3. I have no sound on an ubuntu 64 bit machine in darkmod (no music no ambient) ------ OSS Sound Initialization ------ opened sound device '/dev/dsp' ioctl SNDCTL_SYSINFO failed: Invalid argument this ioctl is only available in OSS/Linux implementation. 4. Looks like it was a dependency problem. I had some difficulties finding out what I dependencies I needed to get tdm to run on Arch 64bit: libpng12 from AUR lib32-libpng12 from AUR lib32-libx11 lib32-libxext lib32-libxxf86vm lib32-nvidia-libgl lib32-alsa-plugins lib32-json-c lib32-libasyncns lib32-libcap lib32-libxtst lib32-libogg lib32-flac lib32-libvorbis lib32-libsndfile lib32-libpulse
  5. I have a new machine with gtx 760. It does not want to play TDM. I run TDM on 64bit Arch Linux on this new machine and it breaks before starting. (TDM 2.03 is still working on old 64bit Arch machine). It is ofcourse possible that I forgot to install some 32bit lib but maybe it's something different alltogether... Help much apreciated. 6. Could it be that "Posix_QueEvent: overflow" is just a result of the game grinding to a halt? I can reproduce the problem without getting the error in terminal as well.. Even at low resolution with Lod, antialias and everything else at low setting the game still freezes at the intersection....
  7. Yes from tdm_version_info.txt: [Version2.02 File thedarkmod.x86] crc = 3dbd279e filesize = 6094927
  8. No it was multiple: "Posix_QueEvent: overflow". I copied it from the terminal
  9. I get a "Posix_QueEvent: overflow" in Vengeance for a Thief Part 1 at the intersection just past the horse. The game freezes. Running current stable release on Arch linux 64 bit...
  10. One of my favourite missions so far... excellent!!!
  11. Awesome mission. Really enjoyed this!!!
  12. Could it be that the 2.0 broke some of the graphics? Lightning from pumpkin heads is replaced with simple billboard looking graphic. Also on the first floor there is some particle effect which consists of small squares falling... Very nice and eerie mission btw.
  13. Way too easy to get stuck but boy this was really very good stuff indeed...
  14. I like the idea of hearing one of the searchers tell the others to stop searching and resume their previous activities just before they stop searching. It would be cool to hear the others agree and continue on their way again. It would add some extra ambiance and realism imo. Not directly related to cooperation but I really liked it in the originals thief that guards sometimes pretend to stop searching and then all of a sudden turn around again and continue searching for a few seconds.
  15. Very nice level. I really enjoyed it. Creepy indeed, with a nice sense of abandonment. It needs some polishing up if you ask me. I liked the use of teleportation but it would be better if the where completely seamless (so you don't notice them happening.) I could not find the fabolous treasure on my own, but I liked once I looked it up. cheers
  16. Just finished this mission and I must say: very impressive indeed!!! My favourite so far I think...
  17. Seems to me like Builders Blocks actually contains Crystal Grave...
  18. Just installed Crystal Grave v2.1... Now it's in the available missions view twice :-D
  19. I tried to download "The Builders Blocks" just now (in game). When I entered the available Missions view it had downloaded "Crystal Grave v2.1" instead. Builders block is gone from the missions in the online mission archive. Crystal Grave is still there. When I check for more information (mission details) on Crystal Grave it gives me black screenshots.. Somethings off here me thinks... Enjoying the mod though, Cheers...
