  1. Here's a recently released trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition. EDIT can't post it as a link, it just auto-makes a media link that is broken. The trailer is up on http://www.gametrailers.com.
  2. Started looking up how to mix music in 5.1 now thanks to this thread. To be able to do that would be awesome! Seems pretty complicated though...
  3. I'm also looking forward to seeing this, if it works out well, in action.
  4. This was a really interesting read. It's about the .mp3 format. http://ryanmaguiremusic.com/theghostinthemp3.html
  5. I guess you got it, but the name refers to the H1N1 "swine flu" virus. Still a horrible name, and by the looks of it, game.
  6. That looks more like seriously-depressed than sleeping-on-duty.
  7. Wow, that site is awesome. I just need to arrange some kind of delivery from the UK to Sweden/Norway...
  8. Sitting sleeping AI would be a nice addition, would probably be used by mappers too as it opens up some new interesting possible scenarios.
  9. This is a really good idea, I like your examples so far. To make the sheets over the existing models and then remove the models except for the legs definitely sounds best in terms of performance. Also maybe a LOD stage or two would be nice; I'm not a modeler myself but considering the fairly simple meshes I'd guess it wouldn't be that complicated to make. It would be nice to try to include LOD stages on as much new models as possible, I'd say.
  10. Lots of interesting information here, good to know.
  11. Ah, didn't know that. Some of my friends here in Oslo booked Bong-Ra not so long ago, he's a really nice guy. Also met Igorrr a while ago, funny guy. I work with photography so I sometimes get to hang out with artists, it's fun.
  12. Got linked a nice article with some great info on breakcore. Many nice examples of progressive music here! http://www.insomniac.com/news/how-talk-your-kids-about-breakcore
  13. I'd say I'm definitely the most modest person on these boards. #paradox
  14. Yeah, I saw that. Very nice. Though, I will probably not put time into learning how to use Blender at this time. Might be good for future projects anyways, thanks for sharing.
  15. I'm really glad to see such dedication on these boards, everyone is so helpful and nice! When it comes to modesty though..
  16. Ah, my bad. Sorry for necromancing this pointless thread btw, I was a bit bored. And also interested in the use of patches to create things.
  17. Hello there, been looking through the Wiki articles, and many of them contain spelling and grammar mistakes (and also in many cases not-easy-to-read formatting). I'd like to help out with improving the Wiki page if possible. I'm a fluent speaker and writer in English, even if it's my second language. How would I go about doing this? Who is in charge of the Wiki?
  18. Even if it's not possible with multiple cameras, I can see this being really useful for missions. EDIT like a secret watching hole in a wall or something similar.
  19. You cannot install any "regular" software on Chromebooks from what I've read, so the simple answer is no. They're built around apps and cloud services, with the internal HDD used only for media/documents.
  20. Popping can be avoided by "working the mic", mainly by replacing syllables (pronounce P more like B as one example, adding a slight lisp on S to avoid piercing high end as another). Or, one could invest in a USB condenser mic and a simple pop filter.
  21. Ah, think I read that a while ago, makes sense. So the water is kinda "magical" after all. Also, I'm not sure you caught my tiny hint of sarcasm in both of my posts on this page. I'll make sure I use more smilies to avoid confusion.
