So apparently the new Thief has "context-sensitive controls that mean you can only jump when the game says you can jump." what the hell?!

if its broke already it cannot be fixed. imagine trying to implement jumping with mantling in ocarina of time halfway through dev. absolutely impossible without complete level redesign. this is not going away.

I would think Arma2 would have taught devs that PC Gamers are willing to put up with absolutely horrendously glitchy interfaces with too many hotkeys and huge learning curves... if the gameplay is right.

You stick around and help them build a base, then the two of you gang up on the enemy, box them in, and finish them. This is unusual for public games; usually people just do their personal thing even when it is a team game

Best thing you can do is to stop living in a clean-room. stop lysoling your house. Eat something that fell on the floor every once in a while. I've worked on an organic farm, and farmers have some of the dirtiest jobs around, and they NEVER get sick. The farmer I worked for once ate something that fell on a floor covered in chicken crap right in front of me. He's never missed a day of work. and STOP vaccinating.

How much AI can you get in one room before the frame rate starts dropping? I was going to do a manor FM which takes place during a ball. This might not be a good idea if I cant get more than 4 AI in the ballroom at once.

Sounds like Lady Boyle mission. Keep the torches off AI, and try to use noshadows lights where you can.

Looks there is a problem with Hotmail as of 30mins ago. It wont load correctly and is throwing up certificat errorsa in FF&IE.

I've been thinking about doing a 1.08 trailer myself, with the BSG intro music. The first little prayer part would have some scenic atmosphere like the arcturus wavy grass test vid, and Johanne's foggy forest cottage. Then during the drum-roll bit, put in some action sequences.
