Yep. PowerVR had the best GPU tech. We wouldn't be drooling over engine upgrades to "deferred rendering" if deferred rendering were built into the chips and that's exactly what PowerVR does. It's a shame that the industry didn't follow suit. Now we waste CPU and GPU cycles to achieve the same thing.

I will still probably never get an appled based phone due to the inability lock it down. And by that I mean I have a rooted S4, with firewall, adblocking and privacy manger. My next phone probably not going to be Samsung due to thier BS attitude towards customers of late, maybe a Moto X or some other generic handset. ormaybe even one of these alternative OS's (sailfish, nokia-android, etc.)

Yeah, not sure if this will be exclusive to Apple since PowerVR is in almost all mobile phones but I wouldn't be surprised it they did that.
