  1. That was at my first playthrough, not the second one .
  2. Alas, my last playthrough wasn't as clean as yours . I've left a unconscious body somewhere in the Corvo's campaign, and my inactivity at the beginning of the Daud's campaign has led to a death on my account.

    Vulkan

It's sad that Apple chose to ignore Vulkan .
  4. I'm glad that I helped you a bit .
  5. You're welcome . My version of Dishonored GOTY has a different Steam id because "RHCP" is abbreviation for Russia, Hungary, Czech, Poland.
  6. Ok, here is my save data from Dishonored GOTY: https://www.sendspace.com/file/er3zqm Please be aware that that archive contains a folder named "217980" - it's a Steam ID for Dishonored GOTY (RHCP). How to install: Open the Steam folder (usually, it's "c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam" or "c:\Program Files\Steam"), then open the "userdata" folder. There, you can see games saves under Steam IDs' numbers. Find the "217980" folder (i.e. Dishonored's one), save it if you want. After this, delete it and extract here the content of my archive. You should probably quit Steam while you are doing this, but I'm not sure. Good luck .
  7. SeriousToni: if you still need those save files, I can provide them to you, but you'll have to wait 5-6 hours.
  8. Well, please don't forget to share your opinion with us here when you complete the Daud's part . You see, I personally like both Daud DLCs even more than the base game, so it would be nice to know other people's impressions.
  9. Springheel, I suppose you've bought GOTY. If so, what is your impression on the Daud's part of the game, comparing to the Corvo's one?
  10. I think Arkane is a small enough company, though it has two offices (Lyon and Austin), so I suppose that that Void Engine is more like the Vengeance Engine from Irrational Games - it had a different name, and a few cool features here and there, but it was still mainly the Unreal Engine 2.5. I mean the Void Engine contains probably 90-95% of the id Tech 5 Engine.
  11. I think the switch to the id Tech 5 can easily be explained - the engine is a property of id Software, and id is a branch of Bethesda. Thus, if you're a branch of Bethesda (id, Arkane, Machine Games, Tango Gameworks), you should use a Bethesda's engine: either the id Tech 5, or the Creation Engine (TES V: Skyrim, Fallout 4).
  12. Sotha, I'd just recommend to buy something like H97M-Plus, H97-Plus, H97-E, B85M-Gamer, B85-Plus, B85M-E, or Z87-Plus. These Asus MB models all have 4 DDR3 slots so you'll always be able to add more RAM if you want, 6 SATA-III ports (excluding H97M-E, with 4 SATA-III ports) so you'll be able to add as much HDDs and/or SSDs as you want. Also, at least a half of these MB models have 6 USB 3.0 ports, while the other half have 4 USB 3.0 ports. But what's best of them is that that they're a less expensive than H97 Pro, so you can choose any of them, save some money and buy more powerful CPU (i5-4690, for example) . BTW, SSD is a very good idea .
  13. I think that Asus H97 Pro is a bit expensive, don't you think? Why have you chose exactly that MB model? I mean, you could choose a less expensive MB and a more fast CPU (say, i5-4690 - it works at 3.9GHz and has the same TDP = 84W).
  14. Seems, DH2 will use so named Void Engine, which is presumably based on id Tech (5? 6?).
  15. He-he, no . It seems that this is some kind of an illustration from the "Kadisma" book ("The Book of Psalms") written in Church Slavonic language somewhere in XVII-XVIII centuries. I think the point of the last charisma's post was that kakarotto is wrong that there is no need to translate TDM FMs to Russian.
  16. Bikerdude, just visit there and choose the green ones .
  17. It's the Dawn Engine, a heavily modified version of IO Interactive’s Glacier™ 2 engine (Hitman: Absolution). It'll support DirectX 12, etc.
  18. Guys, I think AMD will never improve its OpenGL driver as nVidia does it. The reason is simple: AMD has no resources for it, and never had. Also, the support of the new APIs (Mantle, D3D12, Vulkan) do also consume some AMD resources, so the only conclusion I can see is to migrate to D3D9/11.
  19. Both 32- & 64-bit versions of 15.03 beta are already available. Anyone ?
  20. AFAIK, AMD Catalyst's version is (year).(month) since 2002 or 2003. Ergo, the new version will be 15.03, if it'll be released in March.
  21. Merry Christmas, guys ! You're awesome!
  22. Well, I won't name the exact model, but I'd like to suggest you a few more considerations: 1. Display. If you plan to work under the direct sunlight or just in well-lit environment and your eyes are not ok, I'd suggest to buy a notebook with the opaque screen, not with the glossy one. Please believe me, your eyes and head will say you "thanks" . 2. If it's possible, choose an Intel Haswell CPU (Core i3/i5/i7 4xxx, Pentium G3xxx, Celeron G2xxx). They have excellent power-saving features (which will save battery), and also they are the most powerful CPUs on the market. 3. RAM 4 GB is minimum, but the more it will be, the better. Many modern programs are becoming 64-bit only, so be prepared for it. 4. Blu-Ray is only needed if you plan to use BD discs, i.e. watch BD-movies and/or archive big data (dozens or hundreds of GB).
  23. Actually, BS2 has almost all those features .
