I am pleased to report that Pulseaudio no longer makes me want to throw the computer off a bridge. It finally "just works" correctly. Latency is low in TDM (it used to lag for a second or two), it works with Wine, and it solves the issue of switching audio devices on the fly and recording the audio output in audacity.

I was thinking of resuming my WIP at some point. It's been a while and I noticed I have several DR versions on my hard drive, and I have vague recollection that some functions worked on one and some on another version.. Can someone recommend what is the currently most stable version of DR? I need basic mapping functions and the readable editor. Thanks!

Graphics card crashed so I bought a new one...GeForce GTX 980 TI 6gb...Have tried to make TDM to lag by packing lights...it won't lag

I got a nice (huge) computer case for $20, but the power switch is busted. I wired the reset switch to act as power, and I 3D-modeled a substitute part last night to fix the broken power switch. I wonder if it will work? I paid attention to measurements of the broken part. (a clip snapped off)

I don't think I've modeled an environment this intensely since forever ago. I'll be tossing screenies up when I have a bit more finished.
