  1. Four Stars across the board from me!
  2. I really enjoyed the map of the area of Flakebridge in the latest FM - fired the imagination for future FMs in your take on the DM universe. I'd love to have a stab at redrawing it at some point in the future - I have a soft spot more maps and think more FMs desparately need them!

  3. That sounds like a perfect solution, in my mind! x-D But I understand that for most people and most missions - this is not a pressing problem. I'm just dipping my toe and trying to guage dev. opinion / thought on certain things, not demanding a GUI rewrite! =-X
  4. This is the biggest problem I can think of with the keyring idea. Disrupting the GUI would, I imagine, take a lot of effort and might break the "feel" of a game on an aesthetic level. The "loot" section tells you dynamically how much you've got of different kinds of treasure. I was wondering if something like that could be used so as you pick up keys text above the icon could list the names of the keys? PS: I know I am a new person and haven't contributed anything (yet) so please don't take a topic like this as insane demands - I'm just trying to guage how people feel on issues I've encountered. :-3
  5. It's no worse than the drowning bodies in Thief who would groan if you threw them in water. x-D
  6. Oh you big tease. =-P In any case - we're all looking forward to it!
  7. I've been playing part two of No Honour Amongst Thieves - amongst others - and on larger FMs I'm finding myself having to scroll through a huge inventory. I know I can reassign the keys for category scrolling - but even then, not being able to drop useless items is a real pain and clutters things up. Something which was a big relief in Deus ex was that all the "keys" you pick up are added to a nano "key" which makes trying a door a lot easier if you're not sure you have the right key or not. Arx Fatalis likewise had a key ring you could just add all the keys you find to. Would it be at all possible / desirable to have something similar in the Dark Mod to tidy up keys?
  8. Sounds good, Ziggun - some maps are spoiled by having bad readables, so here's hoping for some good collaborations on your part! =-3
  9. Yes, the green tick not appearing even on completing more than once such as with Sotha's Vertical FM.; I have that problem with a handful of missions. Not many other people seem to have it so I figure it might just be a rare bug,
  10. @Brethren I, too, have prodded Springheel in another thread about this - but he's been busy cracking on with the new Inventor / Forge worker models as well as mapping! I loves me dose inhuman enemies! :-V
  11. That looks stunning, Johanne - what's the story behind it? In fact - I'm dying to know the story behind all the snippet videos of FMs you've shown off. The crazy tunnels and elaborate sewers! Enquiring minds need to know!
  12. Looking good, FM! What kind of theme are you aiming for with this one?
  13. Oh wow! Four missions in the span of a week or so! Looking forward to this, good work Pranqster for sticking with it to release! =3
  14. Perhaps ask Sotha as well - he has loads of puddles in The Transaction in the street which make a splashing sound.
  15. Congrats PranQster! I'm looking forward to downloading it in game soon! ;-)
  16. MEET THE MEDIC! <3 <3 <3 http://www.teamfortress.com/uberupdate/ I've been waiting for this for years! Since Medic is my main class! I just fear for the inevitable wave of cheaters and hackers that free to play will cause. =-<
  17. Poor Springheel only just made two wonderful new characters, and already we ask for more! We already have a cloaked mage character - don't we? Couldn't we use him as a kind of - "stop gap"? I thought the Builder Priests looked fittingly "mage - like" to be throwing fireballs in a heretical afterlife as well.
  18. Oh man - I can't get enough of ghosties - ghouls and inhuman enemies! :-X Is there any chance that one could create something akin to the Thief 1 ghosts who throw fireball / skull projectiles to add a ranged threat to the otherwise close combat only zombies / revenants?
  19. My father developed the means for convincing 3D surround through software alone and headphones / stereo speakers during the late 90s. Whilst the technology did get licensed by a couple of big players in the game market - as far as I'm aware the motion of the market was towards selling big chunks of hardware and multiple speaker set ups. The desire to make use of stereo headphones for positional 3D audio was surprisingly low. PM me if you want to know more. x-D
  20. Yes Biker, it is a low end one - (Xonar DS) like the review says. It does support 5.1 but when I try to turn EAX on in TDM it says "no suitable hardware found". I got it as it was a cheap way to avoid on board sound. Sorry, yes it sounds unsuitable for you, I guess I mean to vouch for ASUS over Creative in this instance, even though you probably need the higher end model.
  21. I've got the Xonar and I've had none of the snap crackle and pop I had with my old Audigy.
