The locales look good, but even the main site is staggeringly useless about telling us what kind of game this will be. An FPS? 3rd person combat? Action RPG? Something like Assassin's Creed?

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

Yes, I don't have a clue what the gameplay is. But as for art direction, there were some great scenes. Good fodder for inspiration.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

Looks interesting, the first thing I thought when I saw the trailer at the top was, "is this trying to be a Mount and Blade killer of some kind? But I figured it probably was a third person adventure game like everything else, (third person adventure game, third person cover shooter, or first person 'tactical', Oscar Mike, shooter seem the main genres now) The fighting systme reminds me a lot of Age of Chivalry for Half-life 2 that I betatested, and speaking of that, they are going to release their own game soon too.

But this is looking pretty fresh and interesting on it's own really. Although I am not a big fan of finishing moves in games unless they are made ridiculous, which these are somewhat, but not enough, I am talking mortal combat ridiculous, otherwise they most often seem like some unnessecary sadistic addition, when they could have given the player more freedom instead of adding pre scripted deaths. I mean things like half-life/2 was good at, exploding crates, monsers killing eachother, pushing people into deathmachines pushing them off ledges, things like that.

The FAQ wiki is almost a proper FAQ now. Probably need to spin-off a bunch of the "remedies" for playing older TDM versions into their own article.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
