Ok, here are ten paintings. There's really only two different kinds of frames, just with different colours for variety. I can make more types of frames later.

Odd, could you make a rotated frame for landscape paintings? I'll make ten of those as well--that should be plenty for our mappers at the moment.

Will it rotate automatically somehow or do you have to do that through the editor? Either way, I'll need a batch of new frames to work with when you get a chance--maybe 5 small and 5 large?

I aded 20 more. THE current 10 will be the samll ones, there are 10 new medium size and 10 new large size.

YOu have to name your new images

painting01_L_d.tga, painting01_L_local.tga

Painting01_m_d.tga, painting01_m_local.tga - etc

Obviosuly since you seem to be using the same frame for every picutre you only actually need them all to point to the same normal map. YOu' have to change decorations.mtr depending on how many different frames you wil be using.

Ok, here are thirty different paintings ready to go. There are ten small, ten medium and ten large. I rearranged some of the small ones to include some landscape-oriented options. There are about eight or nine different frames in the batch of thirty.

Should be more than enough for our mappers for now. I'll work on some tapestry designs next using the skins method.

I'll put them up on CVS shortly.

Cool! 30 Paintings is probably 28 more then there were in TDS. :)

I guess this should be sufficient for now. Doesn't hurt to have more, but 30 seems to be a good number to have and not let you immediately notice that there is a limited number. But if you feel like it, go ahead and make more. :) I like these paintings.

Finally got round to publishing a tutorial on baking normal maps in Blender, since most of the ones we have are inaccessible or years out of date.

The FAQ wiki is almost a proper FAQ now. Probably need to spin-off a bunch of the "remedies" for playing older TDM versions into their own article.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.
