-I'd say his enthusiasm was refreshing, when compared to certain negative and grumpy attitude present in this forum. Some kind of balancing force, I might add.

Excess enthusiasm of course might test ones patience every now and then, but the strain is much smaller than constant grumpiness/hostility.

 

Yes, I fully agree. While I don't share Unstoppables enthusiasm (probably because I am just old and grumpy , I would take it always instead of griping and whining and always complaining.

 

I'd also like to add that I don't mind you, unstoppable. It's not that the Off-topic forum could overflow or something, there is enough space in it for whatever you want to write.

There's no problem with enthusiasm if it's deep and reasonable and not derived just to fit in, but in this case it sounded so shallow and sheepish that it makes Homer Simpson seem like a cynic.
