This may sound stupid, but I found the flower pot on the streets at the beggining of the mission, but I just can't find how to make it fall to get the message(thing?key?) in it. (If that's what I'm supposed to to...

Can anyone tell me how so I can go on with the actual mission -_-"

Pleeeease :)

Pleeeease :)

Easy way:

Hint:

Try to bumb something into it :)

Strong hint:

Shoot something at it!

Hard way:

Climb up to it, but you need some crazy mantling to get up :)

OMG thanks a lot, but I just had the wrong pot... <_<

I was

firing arrows

at the one real high just in front of the place where you find

the message under the rock.

I feel so stupid lol Thanks anyway.

Btw Hi everyone! *smiles*

Hehe, no problem, almost guessed you had the wrong one :) And welcome, enjoy your stay.

No way! You actually managed to mantle all the way up there???

Yes, you can use the shovel as a ramp, run up there, mantle on the lamp next to it. Remember, when you stand on some item, you can use the "run" button to gain speed just before you jump, so you can then run-jump-mantle from the lamp onto the window sill. Then you just need to move around carefully :P

Fraps worth!! :)

Fraps doesn't run under Linux, but I found this, looks promising:

http://dbservice.com/projects/yukon/wiki/RewriteBranch

But it will take an evening to setup and compile all this on my 64bit PC *sigh* Wish they could just add that to the Ubuntu repository...

I demand a video of that :o:D

Ha! So what if I am, huh? Anyways, I work better when I'm drunk. It makes me fearless! If I see a bad guy, I'll just point my sword at him. And saaaaaay "HEY! Bad guy! You're not s'pposed to be here! Go home or I'll stick you with my sword...'til you go...'Ouch I'm dead!' Ahahahah (hic) See? Ain't no one gonna be messin with old Benny."

Done. I even went far, far beyond it.

NOW don't dare you, tels, tell me that SL can't run smoothly with 512 mb of ram!

Did you use texture downscaling? What resolution? :)

Oh, and btw, you didn't reach the pot :D

Has anyone had any luck with textures from Polyhaven? Their OpenEXR normal maps seem too washed out and give incorrect shading in the engine.

I tried to upscale the TDM logo video. First try:

briefing_video.mp4 You can test it ingame by making a copy of the core tdm_gui.mtr and place it in your-tdm-root/materials/ , then edit line 249 of that file into the location where you placed the new briefing.mp4 file.
What I did was I extracted all the image files, then used Upscayl to upscale the images using General photo (Real-Esrgan) upscale setting and then turn it back into a video.
I might have to crop it a bit, the logo looks smaller on screen (or maybe it's actually better this way?). My video editor turned it into a 16:9 video, which I think overal looks better than 1:1 video of original.

Finally got round to publishing a tutorial on baking normal maps in Blender, since most of the ones we have are inaccessible or years out of date.
