I love this throne room without music video! it's the funniest thing. Lord, is it awkward! seems it takes forever and it's only 2 minutes. The ET scene still retains some value though, less powerful but it's not ridiculous.

Ooh, that Batman trailer looks nice. Then again so did Arkham Origins' trailer, which I didn't like. These people mastered the art of making trailer better than the art of making games in some cases lol.

Really cool! Not sure what can be done with this though. I know that's just a prototype but USB charger and speakers are not very exciting modules, what else could be done with this?

Yeah, I usually don't care much for celebrities but this is just terrible. Depression is often dismissed as trivial, or thought of as something that has a cause, like general sadness. It's a medical condition and it can kill if untreated.

I've been on this forum for years and even though I haven't played TDM in a long while I still visit almost daily. Now that I'm moving to the other hemisphere later this year I would like to know if it will be close by any of you. We can have coffee and talk about videogames I'm going to Iowa City in august, to start my PhD at Iowa U. Or do I say I'm starting a grad... eh... program? I don't know! I'm starting something. If I finish it you'll have to call me Dr. Diegzumillo III.

So nice to know someone's enjoying it! Every now and then I consider working on it again. I guess I'm not very enthusiastic about the current structure of unconnected scored levels though. My worst enemy in these game dev projects is that if it's too simplistic I lose interest fast, then I make it overly ambitious and I become overwhelmed and frustrated I'll see if I can make this into something I'm excited about without turning it into unfeasible.

Very true. Any competent sandbox will drain hours of your day. I think I've been playing Kerbal Space Program for years and each play session tends to steal my entire morning/afternoon/night. I live for this feeling, actually. Everything I do is because I want it. Sometimes it can be pretty frustrating though; for example I dedicated a few years of my life to study physics, but I haven't achieved this flow state in physics as frequently as I would like to (sure, it happened a few times) because one needs to be doing research on its own feet to properly get the flow. Until then you're pretty much following a set path, it's less exciting. It's like painting, but you only get to paint a canvas after a decade of hard work.

Some friends of mine commented that this looks similar to skyrim, and I guess they have a point. You're swinging a sword and casting spells in first person inside a dungeon. But this got me thinking about it. I enjoyed skyrim and all but I always felt the combat was not a lot of fun. In fact, the fun in skyrim, at least to me, comes from the whole package but not from its individual moving parts (sneaking for the sake of stealth isn't fun, the same goes for combat etc). And I guess what made me excited about this video is that my brain is reading it like "look, it's skyrim but with a combat that looks fun like in dark souls". Now, as anyone reading that dark souls thread can tell, I'm not a huge fan of Dark souls, but I am a huge fan of its combat system! and it's very clear what makes it so appealing to me, it's much more dependent on skill and focus than character sheet. In Skyrim (and any other TES) I could very well create a bot to play the game for me and just adjust the character sheet and gear. It would be like a management game with fantasy rpg... this is actually sounding like an interesting idea, but I digress. Anyway, what do you guys think? is this a poor man's skyrim, a first person dark souls kind of combat game or something entirely different?

I would totally buy this now but I discovered it doesn't run on my pc so I'll pass for now. I'm sure you'll enjoy, just forget it's a sequel to our favorite game
