finally doing some map edits since 2.0, repackaging all wip projects to fms folder is the worst thing that has ever happened. never ever stashing custom stuff and wip maps in root darkmod subfolders ever again.

I found a way to circumvent the issue. Set engine path to the old 1.08 folder with all the originals, then reset to the new engine path and game path, and WITHOUT RESTARTING DR, now you can map to the old assets with find/replace. If you have 15+ backups you plan to keep, have fun rinse/repeating, lol.

You have to change the mod base to your mission folder (darkmod/fms/mymission for example)? You can find the setting under edit/preferences/game.

or in case you meant in general, you just put them in fms/mymission/textures, etc etc, and the fs_game path in DR should have no issues loading them up
