  3. i havent used any photos just working by inspiration. i wanted to make a roman nose. nostrils might be a little to big... also i think skull i bit too high but that happened because i lowered eyebrows. this metcap is addon?
  4. lens are are at 70 im not at backgrounds yet... just want to be better at sculpting.

  6. sure in few days. i want to work a little more on it first. i also noticed that sometimes even using mirror (or what is it called in sculpting) some strange things happen on other side.

  9. very good. but i would suggest using bigger corner stones at bottom and smaller at top of buildings. often the first was very big to protect corners of buildings from carriages.

Ah yes that was it. how could i forget especially since i already used ctrl+a but mostly before unwrapping. a also noticed that in sculpt mode dynamic topology is on. when i was watching some videos it was always off... so i mixed that. now i have much better results. No that low poly would not be animated. its not a problem to create low poly with that tools but baking normal maps is problematic...
  11. im trying some sculpting and i wonder what does it mean "object has non uniform scale, sculpting my be unpredictable" also any good guides on sculpting mouth and ears? Also i wonder about making low poly from high poly. there is tool for that in blender and it works good but than i want to create normal maps for low poly model from high poly and it gets just weird. was watching for some you tube videos and trying to make the same, it seems i am doing it right just the results are bad.

  13. Can you provide close up of lamp in blender. Problem might be that all lamp is one smooth group. Check from 3:00 forward. I think i read somewhere that it might be a problem. So you add double edges where you want to be sharp.Since you asked how gas lamp should look more like gas lamp. Yellow to orange light and different switch. More valve than a switch. It should also have some openings for air to get in and out. Maybe holes in bottom of lamp. Just dark spots in texture. If you really want to make it perfect. But even now its great.
  14. Never played doom but it is not doom 3 already reboot (how popular lately this word is) of original doom? So if this is reboot than is it another reboot or reboot of a reboot? And is remake any different than reboot? Or it is just another word so you can make reboot of a remake
  15. If models arent smooth it is probably exporter problem. Maybe try different one. Sloop looks fantastic. Cant wait to see some ports with those ships.
  16. Are not graphics always downgraded? I mean was not always that promotional pictures/videos looked way better than game did?

  19. Nice mission. Not so small and very detailed. Reading was good - not too long, lots of clues, found some of them before I read it. Got 0 stealth score... but it was on easy. Anyway it is very good mission. Maybe you could rerecord intro, sound is a bit bad, but pictures are nice. And very nice background of city. Have to play it a little more since is am still missing more than 400 loot and have to finish that optional, think I know where to find statue...
  20. You can smart unwrap in blender and you start painting model. It is very easy. But It wont work with all textures. I mean if you are making wall like textures seams will be disaster, if you are making street lamp with metal texture it could be made good. But for more complicated models and textures you unwrap it on hand and that one takes more time.
  21. Very nice looking ship. Just dont make it too tight because I remember some problems in 1st officer room in your carrack. As a suggestion ship could have steam powered winches for sails and anchor like 19th century schooners. Since you cant really put many sailors on ship this would be perfect excuse for smaller crew.
