      The user I quoted made no reference to the purpose for which the items were designed for, simply asking would the damage be similar. Turns out, it can actually be far worse. Nice was a convenient example because motor vehicles were referenced. Let's not even start on airplanes. The truth of the matter is that until Christchurch, there hadn't been a problem since 1990, in Aramoana.

      Pistols are also a LOT more restricted here than long guns, so the odds of this guy being able to get a pistol licence with the amount of dicking around he was doing seem pretty low. That said, he flew under the radar the whole time before, so chances are it would have just been a waiting game.

      Also, given the conflicting news, so far the most accurate thing I've seen is banning MSSA's, and "high capacity" magazines - I've felt for a while that magazines should have been restricted, as apparently some people can't be trusted to honour the restrictions.

    I'm a freak. I have *two* holes in each of my ears. One is up about an inch above the ear canal. Now that's not the problem, the problem is that it occasionally itches like crazy, and when I squeeze it, this weird stuff comes out. Anybody else have (or even ever hear of) this?

      It could also be a reaction to the material used in the piercing. Alternative materials or maybe a coating on whatever you currently have might help.

    Looks like 3 omni speakers can drop fps from 26 to 4 with stuttering - if the scene is full of huge outdoor visportals.

      To be fair, 26 isn't exactly a high framerate to begin with, what's causing it to drop so low, for the omnispeakers to turn into a slideshow?

    I was thinking of resuming my WIP at some point. It's been a while and I noticed I have several DR versions on my hard drive, and I have vague recollection that some functions worked on one and some on another version.. Can someone recommend what is the currently most stable version of DR? I need basic mapping functions and the readable editor. Thanks!
