Just got done watching The State of the Union Address. No regrets but 2018 looks like it's gonna be a packed year for sure. Pretty happy with what I heard overall.

Learning and experimenting with LOD spawnargs for meshes. Even one LOD model and e.g. turning off shadows for LOD stage 2 can really make a difference when it comes to scene complexity. I love it!

I wish we had more of small bite-size FMs. I realized I don't have time to play grand multihour missions anymore... But nice 0.5-1h (1h max!) missions would fit perfectly to my evening schedule.

Those dates don't seem right. Wiener confessed and resigned in 2011, a month after the tweet was made, and both the NYTimes and CNN covered the entire story. It would be pretty silly for anyone to be calling it a hoax after he already admitted to it and resigned.

We don't know who is responsible yet, but let's not pretend like Islamic terrorism isn't a problem in Europe, or that it hasn't been responsible for multiple, similar attacks in the past year. It will still be a problem even if this turns out to be unrelated.

Today is April Fools Day... Ever since the US presidential election campaign and with the advent of false news and alternative facts, the day does not mean much anymore. It is more like every normal day is april's fools day, and what we really need would be a special day when only 100% verified and truthful news is published.
