Can't download missions

All of a sudden I get an error message saying I'm either out of disk space or I'm write protected. Neither is true. I haven't changed anything since my last download. Any clues?

Running Win 7 pro TDM 1.08

When do you see the error? Does the mission download anyway?

I had the same when i tried to download a mission i already had (seems like the internal mission downloader checks for new versions of your missions?). Didn't quite understand it either, as both things weren't true for me as well. The mission won't download at all, it gives me the message when it wants to start the download.

Yep, it comes from the game.

Weird. So do you get a Windows window saying you can't copy the file or does it look like a Darkmod window?

Actually grab a screenshot and dump the contents of the console to a text file.

 

To do this, after the error appears, open the console (CTRL+SHIFT+~ or just ~), and type condump error.txt.

And take a screenshot of the error too. Post both here please.

Ok, i will do so. And yes, it looks like a window from the dark mod. You're saying that such a function is not implemented in the mod? That would be weird indeed...

I had this same issue when trying to download The Lich Queen's Demise. Nothing has changed recently on my TDM setup. Screenshot attached.

 

Edit: Thought I'd add, after seeing the error message, TDM just returns to the download queue page, and I can confirm that the mission does not download or show up in the full missions list.

 

Another Edit: I only got this with Lich Queen, everything else in the list I was able to download.

The mission downloader does support https. As the only mirror is https, you will need to download this manually until someone else provides a permanent http direct download address
