The graphics look cool. This is what interested me:

The entire world is fully simulated. Each citizen has an apartment, job, daily routine, favorite things to do, places to go, and people to interact with. They live out their lives independently, in a world that moves on with or without you— uncover this knowledge and use it to your advantage!

Looks like they are focusing on the gameplay, and creating a sprawling world of complicated "emergent behavior".

Meet individual citizens, each with their own name, job, apartment and daily routine, in unique, procedurally-generated cities.

I'd like to know more about how many NPCs and cities there are, and the size of the cities.

Some of the "uniqueness" could come down to using different architectural/layout styles for different procedurally generated cities.

I saw that featured on Steam's homepage today and was intrigued. I liked the aesthetic. I didn't really understand the gameplay, but maybe I'll watch a few videos, since it sounds interesting. The concept of a procedural murder/crime & investigation sim sounds pretty fresh; it's a wonder we haven't seen something like it before.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

Sounds like virtual theatre

I posted about it before, but I think the default tdm logo video looks outdated. For a (i.m.o.) better looking version, you can download the pk4 attached to this post and plonk it in your tdm root folder. Every mission that starts with the tdm logo then starts with the better looking one. Try for example mission COS1 Pearls and Swine.

I finished DOOM - The Dark Ages the other day. It is a decent shooter, but not as great as its predecessors, especially because of the soundtrack.
