OK, I'm stupid, I get it.

Too late to save us but try to understand

The seas were empty -- there was hunger in the land

We let the madmen write the golden rules

We were just Children of the Moon

We're lost in the middle of a hopeless world

Children, Children of the Moon watch the world go by

Children, Children of the Moon are hiding from the Sun and the Sky

Not understanding a joke in a foreign language doesn't mean that you are stupid.

Ma father speaks fluently hungarian for many years, but still he has a hard time understanding certain jokes.

Well, Dram seesms it necessarily to point out that he is foregin too but still gets it. Maybe I'll give you some Russian jokes translated to English!

Well, if you are from CZ = Czech, it's no surprise, I'm not sure, but I think it was inside the Soviet Union. I first met the expression in a Russian movie, though...

It's unfair overall - USSR was full of problems. Bureucracy was everywhere. Only this expression just means that "official" salaries were so low that it was almost impossible to live earning only one. The main source of money was not work at all.

yeah, it was under communist rule at one point, so my parents know what it was like, not me mind, im only 18. But yeah, i know what you mean with the shittyness of salaries during communism. I remember my mother telling me about the jokes that would go round at that time - my favourite was one where there was a guy that found a basket full of money on a porch and took the basket and not the money as the money was worth much much less then the simple basket. The currency was worth shit all at the time.

Yeah, that was a cool one too... I didn't live in communism much either - my parents told me all about it. Another inflation was after the Reconstruction - when all USSR more or less fell. Back then we put all our money into cigarettes, and after the Reconstruction we sold it, so we saved our money. Shame our grandmother didn't want to do something like that...

We would have been very rich if our gran didn't insist that there was no inflation! Besides, she despised cigaretts. Nice my dad doesn't smoke anymore...

Can you imagine that there are still people here who support communism? Sometimes while talking to completely regular people I discover that they liked the way it was... Can't get them. Well, to some point, it was easy to speculate in USSR. That's where we got all our money from. Our gran sold stuff in trains - it was illegal then. Well, because everybody stole something, USSR didn't survive. The good thing was that universities were free and stuff like that... Only anyone who got out of a university got a masters decree even though he didn't deserve it. The communist system works only if the society is ideal. But it isnt...

Communism is much worse than capitalism, though there are problems in both.

I'm afraid I can't tell you much about communism, capitalism, or USSR because I didn't really live during USSR and was never interested in politics.

Hell, Americans speak English but they still don't get a lot of British humour.

Did someone say British humor? Ahhh, it's my favorite. :) Although, I find British and Canadian humor to be somewhat similar...probably why I'm so fond of it...and why we have had so many british television series on Canadian Broadcasting. :)

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.
