I have been watching this site for a few months now and I can't express how excited I am about this mod. I have played alot of doom and i just LOVE the lighting effects in doom3, especially when something comes out of the darkness and into the light and when lights come from above or all the projectors that project lights onto models. I hope to see lots of beautiful projectors in this mod:) It's just so much more fun to sneek around when everything looks so darn pretty:)

I imagine how lightgem will work in the Mod, with all those advanced effects.

I hope it translates cus words very bad. THe effect of goats on New horizon was a laugh.

Well, it could have been funny if I was sure you joked. But how do I know a translator of yours didn't translate word Chernobyl into something mother-related.

 

What's the chance of a translator taking one coherent sentence and turning it into another coherent sentence? Well, it could happen.

 

Good rule of thumb - I'm always joking, even when I think I'm not.

 

I hate automatic translators because they unload all kinds of crap Welsh translations that businesses put up in their stores because they're too lazy/stingy to get a proper translator (hell, I could do it for them in a pinch).

 

Here are actual translations I've come across recently:

 

Alcahol and spirits = Alcahol and ghosts

 

Please ring for service = Please wedding ring for service

 

A danger sign that read 'Workmen Exploding Nearby'

 

Danger Man Hole! = Warning, a man's bottom hole!

      Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh?       I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.
