Converting The Meshes To Edit Them

If there's prelate editing going on/to happen, does that mean the ridiculous looking breastplate could finally come off him? :) Why is a guy in a robe wearing a breastplate - and nothing else - and OVER the robes (in true underwear over the pants fashion) - especially if he's such an elite martial artist/warrior? Makes no sense and looks silly.

I've never been particularly fond of that model either, actually. But I doubt it's as easy as just removing the breastplate.

 

First we'll have to get Maya working so we can get a full inventory of what models we have, and which ones can be modified. Then we can talk about what modifications we'd like to make.

Well surely we wouldn't have to resort to note pad for that :) If I really had to I'd just use a converter and get it into 3DS Max, which I know how to use.

 

It makes sense to delete those polys from the final even if they were there during modelling, because otherwise they will always be rendered, even though they will never be seen. It's the same reason the Elite Guard doesn't have any shoulders under his pauldrons.

      i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
      tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
