Even though this is the majorest upgrades yet, what with the usual goodness and the D3 detech! The revenants getting new vocals set? Is some of the best news I've heard. The current set sucks to be brutally honest AND it's doubly suckaging because the OT (original Thief) stuff was so good and earconic! Here's hoping these new revenant sounds will rock and roll.

Seeing as how I am the best at Thief -- and, so, the best TDM player and also by further extension, beta-tester -- I suppose I would be happy to beta-test 2.0 alongside "WS2: Home Again".

I think it's not because the score itself, people just enjoy having a good execution. The score is just a way of knowing how well you did.

Punishing refers to the stealth score. It's similar like people complaining about a punishment of there playstyle due to "no kill"-restrictions

I personally wouldn't pay too much attention to rumors and screenshots. Maybe let's wait some time until the first demo or playtests. And even though we should all try making TDM a better Thief anyhow.

Demos are as "out" these days just as much as editing tools are. I hope Thief 4 succeeds because it would be nice to have another game to play.

Stephen Russel's not voicing Garrett? About a 1 out of 10 on the what-is-important scale. The fact that Garrett runs parkouring, bomb-a-bursting, crashing through windows, Bataranging... for no apparent reason? About a 9 out of 10 on the MFers!-alarm scale.
