@Dragofer Yeah, this works perfectly for the installed mission display, but in the "Available Missions" list only the first line gets displayed.
-
@Dragofer Thanks, I've looked into it, but it does not include a specific command for a line break. Indeed, moving the words around forces a line break but at the price that one receives a large space in the overall missions list. hmm....

Star Trek is a good example for the same problem: One of the newer interpretations called "Discovery" is set ca. 100 years before ST:TNG...but the "old" technology used therein seems much more advanced.

That would be great. I like both DX:HR and MD and this one looks very familiar.

Holy Joe, this version of an original recording from The Can is extremely impressive: In the meantime I lost track about all the musicians and bands influenced by The Can.

Did you receive any feedback on this?
-
Didn't oneofthe8devilz work on something similar using Unreal and Thief 3 stuff?

@AluminumHaste Will do and PM you. Thank you for your help.

@AluminumHaste Here you go with r_showtris 2: https://streamable.com/sm6mis

@AluminumHaste I have identified a second spot with the same problem, you can see that problem at the beginning of the video. The second part of the video shows the problem explained above. r_showtris 1 is enabled: https://streamable.com/qqn788 EDIT: Update: link updated

1 - The corridor is ok from this angle (I cannot put VPs here because the gratings in the middle are transparent and the tunnel below can be entered): 2 - shortly before the player reaches the crates, there is one spot where DCs skyrocket: 3 - one step ahead, everything returns to normal: What's causing this? The entire corridor is perfectly sealed.

So, what are you working on right now?

Hm....Northern American non-metric system?

Update: Started playing ca. 2 hours ago. I have finished the prologue and a few minutes ago a talkable elevator said "Good luck, idiots" to my two lads. I must say: I love it! Thank your for this recommendation. The J/R sequences are not too complicated and most of the puzzles have been quite logical (till now). I never made good experiences with P&C in the 80ies and 90ies (Manic Mansion, Monkey Island Series), thus this game is some sort of revelation for me. The dialogues are great, especially when it comes to comparing gameplay technology over the decades. The soundtrack is great, too. The themes used till now provide for seriousness and the track played in the area with the "banging door" reminds me on David Bowie's 1995 album "Outside". A good reference with respect to the "apocalyptcial" circumstances. Right, let met return to my guys and do some more serious combining....er,I mean "crafting", of course. Jack

That's a very kind note from you. I hope you keep alive and kicking, too. Beste Grüße vom Jack von dahoam in Bayern

I recall from an earlier discussion with Springheel and Obsttorte to use an audience entity for that. However, I never tried it and thus do not know whether that could work. -
@Diego While waiting for final external contribution before I start optimizing/beta testing my next mission and having nothing else to do (except for staying at home and doing tedious household chores interrupted only by spotaneous running or drinking sessions), I have decided to follow your recommendation and thus will do something I haven't done till now: I will create a steam account to get this game! Hold your breath and stay tuned for the shocking experiences I will share with you guys! Jack

Reminds me of old Amiga music software we used back in the day...this is much more advanced, of course.

This looks cool and funny. Thank you for your reports.

First thing that comes to mind is Volta 2: The Cauldron Though, one should have played Volta 1 before starting Volta 2. Both missions are excellent and DM references.

Check Amadeus' recently released mission "A good neighbor". It uses patches with the following material: textures/darkmod/nature/grass/grass_edge/path/dirt/dry_earth_muddy_path
