This "problem" also occurs to me. Btw., if this was intentional, I think the Editors Guild would fit more in the Feedback and Support part, as many people are asking (and answering) questions there.

Just my two cent.

FM's: Builder Roads, Old Habits, Old Habits Rebuild

Mapping and Scripting: Apples and Peaches

Sculptris Models and Tutorials: Obsttortes Models

My wiki articles: Obstipedia

Texture Blending in DR: DR ASE Blend Exporter

I'm making a few modifications to the categories, as more forums move from developer to public. Editor's Guild might move to a third category, depending on whether a few other forums are opened up.

I wasn't sure about the FM forum, but it seems devoted more to feedback (here's what I liked/didn't like) rather than back and forth discussion.

I dont think I'm entirely comfortable with the TDM Fan Mission section of this forum been so low in the forum layout. Yeah I can see the logic of it being in the feedback section but it it just seems odd underneath Editors Guild and Off Topic. TDM Fan Missions seems more important to the average joe who isn't interested in level editing or discussing anything non TDM related.

I think TDM Editors guild should swap places with TDM Fan Missions.

To my ears "Feedback" means from fans to the development team, and FM authors are largely in the same boat as fans in making & playing FMs on the surface above all the sea of development work going on down below. And I liked it having visibility right under the TDM forum too. Editor's Guild is fine below that. That's my take anyway.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

Was checking out old translation packs and decided to fire up TDM 1.07. Rightful Property with sub-20 FPS areas yay! ( same areas run at 180FPS with cranked eye candy on 2.12 )

i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!
