Wow ... performing in that kind of venue sounds epic. What a rush.

I hope, because it was a contest, that the radio station could pull some strings for you to meet the big guys ... but maybe I'm being too optimistic. But it would be awesome if you could.

Be sure to get a video for us if you can!

NH, I'm sure they'll meet with you guys backstage, especially if you impress them. It's probably the highlight of the night for them - meeting other musicians, as opposed to exhausting themselves in front of thousands of stone drunk fans. ;) Will you be taking a lot of footage? (silly question)

I would like to grab some footage, but I'm not sure what the rules are quite yet. We might be able to take someone with us to record things, but I'm not sure.

Yay!

 

Behold the awesome spamming power of the internet! With enough groupthink, we can achieve anything!

 

I demand that videos of the performance are recorded and uploaded to a Flash video site. :)

My games | Public Service Announcement: TDM is not set in the Thief universe. The city in which it takes place is not the City from Thief. The player character is not called Garrett. Any person who contradicts these facts will be subjected to disapproving stares.

Fuck I'm so glad you guys won. I was just catching up on all the threads and saw the date had passed - but I clicked on your link and saw the schedule - Intoxicado was on it. That could only mean one thing, but I read through here just to confirm it.

 

I'm so glad - for someone to make a living doing what they love most is the most awesome thing. Especially after you made that jump after 6 years...

 

I'm really happy for you man, this is awesome. :)

 

And I love Aerosmith.

      Somehow I admire the fact that the material from Dune has now been filmed for the third time. Personally, I could never do much with the material, but as a child of the 80s, I of course know the David Lynch movie...and that movie was at least funny!

      Hey @nbohr1morehow come the zombies in The Dark Mod don't have a "resurrection" mechanic to it, similar to how Thief has it?
      They're quite a weak creature as of right now, it's merely a walking corpse that slashes you, making attacking them to kill them an actual strategy.
      Would be better if they had some cool mechanism to it that truly makes them a danger, such as the resurrection idea itself.

      Query: when was the last time a zombie in a video game was unnerving or scary to you? I'm chipping away at my anniversary submission and I've been trying to gather opinions on the subject. I'm perfectly capable of lighting them well, changing their sfx, and creating effective ambience, but I'm worried that zombies at their core are just too overdone to be an effective payoff to the tension I'm creating.
