knymed 2
There is a command to show readable things like tdm_show_loot? It can be useful to me while translating a mission.
demagogue 1252
I don't remember that, but you can always find them in Dark Radiant through the object menu (press "j" to bring it up), which is better than nothing. SirGen 49
Is there a command for spawning items specific to a certain quest like a key? I tried "spawn atdm:playertools" then pressing tab to cycle through, in hopes of finding quest items that I just cannot find. stumpy 242
you could always load the map in dark radiant and use that to find the missing key. should be in the maps directory in the pk4 file, which is just a zip file with the zip extension changed to pk4. so if you have winrar you can open the pk4 in that extract the map file load it into dark radiant, find where the missing key is, then get it in game. you could probably spawn the key in game, but it wont have the proper settings on the key to unlock what ever is locked seeing as it usually goes by key name added by map maker to open specific lock wanting that key with that unique name, unless they've also used the master key setting, but I think that also uses a unique name so spawning in the master key wont work either, you'll just get a key with no settings on it except the default ones. Obsttorte 1499
You could just ask in the specific map thread? Quote FM's: Builder Roads, Old Habits, Old Habits Rebuild WIP's: Several. SirGen 49
Okay, Thanks Stumpy and Obsttorte. Stumpy, I am familiar with unzipping pk4 files and editing them in Dark Radiant. I removed some "Do Not Kill" parameters from a few levels. How do I find the key in Dark Radiant? Is there a menu that will show me all the special Items in that level, or do I scroll around the map looking for its physical location? Obsttorte, I might try asking if all else fails. demagogue 1252
The quick-key for seeing items in DR is "j", but it's usually a long list to scroll through. Quote What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

plotzzz 2
Hello all, I've been trying to use the above given cheats, but does it still work with TDM 2.0 ?Here is what happens: >spawn atdm:ammo_firearrowWARNING:atdm:ammo_firearrow doesn't include a spawnfunc or spawnclass.
SirGen 49
Hey plotzzz I just tried spawning a fire arrow in 2.0 and it worked. This is what I typed: spawn atdm:ammo_firearrow Are you typing this > at the beginning of your line? That might be your problem. SirGen 49
I've modified some values for "pm_crouchheight" and "pm_crouchviewheight" in order to "go prone." (I realize this could break many missions. I'm just experimenting for fun.) In The Builder's Influence, while "crawling" under some sort of deck, I was caught by the torch carrying builder, I assume because the actual character model was protruding above the deck. Are there lines that I can modify to shrink the character model shorter while I'm crouched? hanmin 11
Hi everyone, my 1st post here.Thnx for this great game and its missions. A while ago, I used a command in the console to find things I could not find in regular gameplay. It lets the character warp/teleport/beam to a given entity. I can't find this command any more and it seems not to be documented any more. Is it deprecated? I could not find it within the history of the wiki-page "Console useful controls". Does anybody know what command I am talking about?
SteveL 1042
Hi there. It might be "noclip" which lets you fly in any direction and through solid walls.
hanmin 11
Definately not noclip, though I used it in noclip mode, since i could otherwise get stuck in some wall or fall down deep.
SteveL 1042
Apparently there's a "teleport" console command. You have to give it the name of an entity too, like "teleport light5". I've not tried it, but I can see it in the code.
VanishedOne 543
I just tried it in a test map. Result: it works, but the console gives me "WARNING: 'player1' telefragged 'testwoman'", and although testwoman actually seems to be alive, I'm now stuck inside her and can't move. So it needs to be either combined with noclip or used with nonsolid entities. 1 Quote Some things I'm repeatedly thinking about... - louder scream when you're dying
hanmin 11
As far as I remember, the command used camelcase and underlashes. I did use it to find a key. It was teleport thnx everybody Edited March 6, 2015 by hanmin
