  1. To cut right to it, Thank you all. Big fan of the darkmod and have been for a very long time. Have always found myself returning to play it once every other year. I love the universe and setting it is slowly creating and have a knack for obtaining notes on demography and other stats pertaining to the subject of population. So I felt it fair to the wonderful community that is the dark mod, I would put my passion to use and try to come up with the most realistic (in respects to it being a fantasy world) stats portraying the general population of the city of Bridgeport and its surrounding coun

  3. I still have plans to record a vocal set that would serve as the voice for a male Pagan tribe member, whose still living out in the wilderness in some camp or hamlet, and wandered into a local town or city. The sort that keeps to himself, but does trade with the more civilised folk whenever he needs some specialist goods (isolated tribes tend to be pragmatic about new tech and goods, even when they prefer a more traditional lifestyle). Another vocal set idea I had was for a foreign or semi-foreign trader, from another "European" state outside of the Empire, or some further region of the Empire

  4. Fascinating topic! Seems like you have a real passion for demographics! This idea never really occurred to me, though I will say I've long wanted to have a map of Bridgeport showing the location of all the different wards and boroughs (I'm a bit of a map nerd). I'm glad to see my "part of town", Brooksdale and Clifton Grove represented in your statistics. Though I think you overestimate the population by two orders of magnitude ^^. The skybox of the city around it are really meant to be other districts/wards some of which are as yet unnamed. I do wonder how you chose which names to includ

  5. I also am thinking of making a roll of arms (a list of all nobles given thus far in the dark mod) positioned on a rating of power and greatness. Also going to need to find a way or a thread dedicated to naming the Gaulic and Germanic Clans. As of right now between all the Pagan tribes, I am figuring that there is about 2,511,473 (based off of Roman numbers, I may shrink them due to further study) of them spread out over the vast lands of the north. Something like 42 different tribes.

  6. Honored to hear from you Grayman! Just finished the bank level for the first time a few days ago. Amazing work as always. Thanks for the input! did not think about the inventors guild would be interesting trying to come up with a number for them. I actually have a note for the Builders, its a little difficult due to them being all over the empire and not just Bridgeport. but for a sneak peak on what I have gathered is: Acolytes/Monks: 5,311 Soldiers: 1,694 Priests: 107 Bishops: 15 Holy locations (churches/shrines/abbeys/Cathedrals) (need to clean this category for f

  7. WOW! That's a lot of detail. Thanks. You don't mention the Builders or their church count, though. Members of the Inventors' Guild? Future work?

  9. HH:TLC, Part III: The Citadel Of Enlightenment The entrance (not very welcoming): I do not know what Amadeus had in mind when he added the "Enlightenment" for the narrator text in HH:VF. Most probably, there will be lots of puzzles to be solved in order to become "enlightened". Hm..yeah, that would explain a lot! Although seemingly not occupied by human beings, some areas are kept in good condition, though I do not have a clue why the revenants would use a working baptistery. Thus, I have no doubt that the undead Builders (I lack a better word) "l

  10. The Dark Mod would be more in the NGO / Non-profit side of entities, those rules would govern all rights and obligations here. Usually these rules are more relaxed in terms of taxes, acquisitions policies, reports and all of that. Especially since there are many NGO's that are inactive, so what's there to report? It's more about maintenance after creating the entity (the hardest part) but it should be in a jurisdiction with friendly laws to NGO's. Overall, there's no need to reinvent the wheel. Just conduct a survey / ask other developers of similar games that got on Steam with ass

  11. Having a legal entity makes sense & is fine by itself. I think the issue was more about what formalizing would mean for the team and workflow, because then (depending on what country we do it through) you have to have trustees / board members, a constitution and bylaws, annual reports, sometimes tax forms, etc., and generally team members consider themselves fans just like anybody else and weren't all that hyped about formalizing. (I'm not particularly worried about being sued over the assets and that side of it, because it probably would have already happened by now if it ever would.)

  12. How do you make that art? It looks like combinations of photographs and digital art, with some TDM textures thrown in? Those figures, for example, are they from photographic references?
