  1. Also voted for you! Not just because of the TDM but because I found your vid the best. Also I have to admit that some other pieces were very interesting. Considering that, somehow, it seems to me a bit unjust to have only one vote at disposal. Good luck!
  2. I prefer when mapper includes no knock-out objective. For me it has great effect on increasing the atmosphere. One can say that if I prefer not to knock-out anybody, then I simply shouldn't do it and don't need a special objective. Well, during the play I often simply cannot resist the temptation and do things a bit easier for me. And No K.O. as an objective nullify it. Not to mention that such approach makes your exploration more challenging enterprise.
  3. Also I really enjoyed music in my favourite RPG: Planescape: Torment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZOuy4YM0AI Fallout 1 and 2:
  4. A lot of posts here reminded me of the time I've "lost" by gaming. I think that also these pieces are worth of mention: This one was fine because in Syberia it meant you solved some puzzle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20lN63Zqymo
  5. What I actually had in mind was the story behind the female crew. While clearly male crews are pretty usual, female crew is something extraordinary. Captain has to have a reason for that and I'd like to know why. But maybe I'm just thinking too much
  6. Just returned to this mission after a loooooong time and found a bug (don't remember whether it was there before 2.0 version) Just outside the tavern the sound of raining goes off and one can hear only thunders.
  7. I find somehow interesting how will you acquit of the concept of female crew.
  8. Maybe I'll be too personal from a "newbie" point of view: I guess a cannot explicitly appreciate enough how much FUN The Dark Mod broght me. You guys here are doing a good work and the quality of TDM is rising higher and higher and I don't mean only the constant process of finding bugs and their removal, nicer graphics but also the quality of levels, not to mention the effort to create campain projects (Wlliam Steele, Thomas Porter, Crucible of Omens in development and so on). And doing this just because somebody wants to? That is simply great! I never played boring mission I downloaded from here and that is not a thing that one can say about every thief-like mission that is availble. I cannot care even less whether for somebody TDM is a game or not, becase form evaluating the fun it brought me, well, it is above many of the official products.
  9. Almost forgot about this mission and played it again in new version of TDM. It seems impossible to me how could I forget the anxious, "totalitarian" atmosphere emphasized by builders presence behind every corner. I know that it's just a game, but I also stumbled on a bug:
  10. I personally prefer to look for loot in every corner and search for it from various perspectives while trying to meet objectives, however I don't care much if I miss some coins. While flirting with it, I never found "completionist" attitude rewarding, usually the loot was hidden in areas, which were explored before and otherwise enjoyable missions have turned into boredom. On the other hand, I prefer fulfilling all optional objectives and they are mostly rewarding, if they show some interesting aspects of the story.
  11. Short but very nice (short doesn't imply lower quality for me - it is good that one has a short levels at diposal just to kill some time). Among other things I enjoyed: 1. raindrops on the windows (don't remember that I have seen such thing in other missions) and 2. and mostly - almost "Garrett-style" of voice acting!!!
  12. I've been off for a while since the standalone TDM was to much for my old NB. And to return to it by playing WS II and then this one was simply rejoicing. These missions are probably going to be my favourite!!! Roofs in one (and without coughing my machine to death) and nice variability of environment in the other + great story overlapping missions + bonus for those who want to finish everything + challenging parts + the length of missions + much more!!! However, I have a problem, and considered the other posts here I must be virtually blind. Where is Looking forward to play your next FM!
  13. Just finished the mission and enjoyed it! Even thought it is not huge and with impressive graphics, it has fine gameplay. This is something I like on TDM in general. One can do great missions, but also those which look "average" are often highly enjoyable.
  14. So, here’s my problem: It is nice mission but this constant search is starting to be a little annoying.
  15. Maybe this will cause a little smile on your lips: I’d like to ask sth. about the mission, but don’t know how to use that "spoiler thingie"... Consider me total newbie
  16. I really enjoyed this one! Almost unbelievable that it is a beginner’s contest. The voice was great. Just wish you utilized it a bit more. Liked the idea of opened ending which poses the question if you will continue to develop the story. I think you should and am looking forward to it!
